Silo (Lieu Commun)
Audiotopie is an artists cooperative specialized in urban audio experiences that reconcile electroacoustic music and new media with the cityscape. Audiotopie's creations offer an original, sensory experience building on the audio, visual, tactile, and social qualities of a given area. They reside somewhere between reality and fiction in order to create poetic and musical urban environments.
Silo is a system consisting of a set of interactive benches. The proximity and contact of people with the work transform the light and the sounds emanating from each bench. Interconnected relationships are established between the last generate for a collective experience. when unoccupied, the installation creates a cozy atmosphere , melodious and quiet , trying to attract passers . The accumulation of interactions with the work gradually transforms the initial atmosphere , making the dynamic , rhythmic and intense. This evolution seeks and modifies the feeling of attraction where compositions cause people to be beside the work. Some will be destabilized by this new state , others will find it, on the contrary, more attractive
